Is our Second Amendment under attack? Are we on the cusp of tyranny in our nation? I will let you answer these questions for yourself because if I didn’t I would be no better than CNN. Before we dig into what the executive order entails and what it means for patriot-gun-loving Americans everywhere. I wanted to highlight what the Second Amendment says exactly from the Constitution. It reads like this “A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a Free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” I will just leave that right there for you to contemplate. This has been “The Big News” circulating these past few days but where do look for the truth? You may go to one left-leaning news outlet and get a completely different answer than the right-leaning news outlet. For the information on the executive orders, I am going to pull this directly from The White House Briefing Room (I will attach this at the bottom along with any of my other sources for you to read and make your own opinion yourself)
The Six Initial Actions are:

The Justice Department, within 30 days, will issue a proposed rule to help stop the proliferation of “ghost guns.”

The Justice Department, within 60 days, will issue a proposed rule to make clear when a device marketed as a stabilizing brace effectively turns a pistol into a short-barreled rifle subject to the requirements of the National Firearms Act.

The Justice Department, within 60 days, will publish model “red flag” legislation for states.

The Administration is investing in evidence-based community violence interventions.

The Justice Department will issue an annual report on firearms trafficking.

The President will nominate David Chipman to serve as Director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms.
So what exactly does this mean for gun owners across America? Let’s break down these executive actions.
The First Action about “Ghost Guns” which are considered “untraceable firearms”, think like a DIY gun building kit. It was stated that these guns are a growing issue among criminals. According to guns and ammo, “Anti-gun advocates will tell you that ghost guns have been used in numerous high-profile crimes, including a handful of cases in California. When I investigated those cases, though, media reports suggested that the receivers may have been obtained “illegally,” meaning they were not made by the shooters. By obtaining these receivers, these criminals were already breaking the law. Even if they made them at home, they still violated the Gun Control Act of 1968 if they weren’t otherwise qualified to buy a gun.”

The Second Action on “Stabilized Braces” for pistols, which were stated as being “more lethal than a rifle”. A pistol brace is an accessory that can be tied around your arm so the gun can be fired one-handed it is also used to help stabilize. According to Pew Pew Tactical, the intention behind the pistol brace was for disabled shooters. “The inventor of the brace, SB Tactical’ s Alex Bosco, came up with the idea in 2012 after shooting at a range with a disabled combat veteran and witnessing the struggles disabled shooters face.”

The Third Action on “Red Flag” law, defined loosely as ‘if someone thinks you are a danger to yourself or others then you can be reported and your guns then can be taken from you.’ Dana Loesch explains 10 reasons why you should oppose “Red Flag” laws. 1) Red Flag Laws are an inversion of ‘innocent until proven guilty.’ The standard of evidence is low and while state laws vary, many different people, not just family, can report you,” Loesch began. “2) You don’t have to be in the room (and advance notice isn’t required) for the petition to be granted meaning you must wait to defend yourself. Most laws provide no penalty for abuse and no state law allows for a civil cause of action against false accusers.” The rest of the list will have a link at the bottom if you are interested in reading the rest.
The Fourth Action on evidence-based community violence or their effort to defund the police. The historic spikes in crime that was stated are in Democratic-run cities across the nation. According to MSNBC “Biden’s new gun control proposals are interested in investing in a community-based solution, not incarceration. “Crimes rates in the United States soared from 1968-1994 and then they started to come down. Why? Because localities and states put more cops on the streets and there was greater federal funding available to put those cops on the streets.”
The Fifth Action on the annual reporting on firearms trafficking report was last done in 2000 under the Clinton administration. I am guessing this is where the “Gun Show Loophole” comes into play. With Biden saying “Most people don’t know it, you walk into a store and you buy a gun, you have a background check. But you go to a gun show, you can buy whatever you want, and no background check.” This is a false claim any federally licensed gun dealers are required by law to run background checks on all firearm purchases whether at a gun show or in their store. The Second Amendment Foundation noted “The devil will be in the details, published reports say he has met with representatives from gun prohibition advocacy groups since taking office. Nobody from the Biden administration has reached out to us or any other gun rights organization to my knowledge, which certainly clarifies Biden’s approach to firearms regulation. He came into office talking about unity, but he just declared war on tens of millions of law-abiding gun owners who have committed no crimes.”
The Sixth Action nominates David Chipman as director of the ATF or as Biden calls it the bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms or ATF for short. SAF warns “Joe Biden just nominated a man now working for the Giffords gun control lobbying group to head the agency responsible for gun law enforcement,” Gottlieb observed. “That’s not just a bad signal to gun owners. The president has essentially raised the black flag, and we see nothing positive for American gun owners or the firearms industry.” Dudley Brown of the National Association for Gun Rights mentioned some noteworthy accomplishments of the ATF nominee “Chipman’s role as a case agent for ATF in the Branch Davidian trial while he was based at the Waco, Texas, field office. David Chipman has been on the leading edge of ATF scandals for decades, all the way back to Waco – and now he shills for gun confiscation with Gun Control Inc.,” Brown said. “Chipman has embraced every hair-brained gun control scheme proposed, so of course Biden and Harris chose him – he’ll fit right in with their corrupt administration.”
What does this mean for gun owners in America not a whole lot, but from a gun-rights activist position its an attack on the second amendment which reads “A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a Free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” According to the Daily Wire “Of course, this is going to be a case, these executive orders will go to the Supreme Court. If Joe Biden had his way he would absolutely be pass gun legislation Biden said “If God could give him control to pass one thing that was not an executive order. It would be a massive gun confiscation bill, it would be a huge gun control bill.” Whether these actions affect you or not I think it’s safe to assume the agenda of this administration on gun control.
