I grew up hunting the Arkansas public timber since I was 6 years old. My dad brought me along hunting just like he did my older brother. My mom always encouraged him to take me even though she is not a hunter herself. Hunting has always been a part of my life and the cornerstone of my family. I am beyond blessed to now be married to a man who holds the same values and passions in life as myself.

As I grew older my dad taught me different skills like driving the boat, navigating in the woods, blowing a duck call, and working a retriever. He wanted me to be self sufficient and diligent in the woods. I am so blessed my dad invested his skills and knowledge into me over the years. I believe he molded me into the hunter I am today with the morals and values he instilled in me from a young age. My husband has also taught me a ton about training dogs and blowing a cutdown.

After recently being introduced to the retriever hunt test and field trial world in 2016, I started working as a field reporter at the Super Retriever Series. In 2017, I became a CoHost for Ducks Unlimited TV, which allowed me to experience all different styles of duck hunting. In September of 2018, I traveled out of the country to duck hunt in Alberta, Canada on the Beretta Torture Tour. Then a few months later my husband and I started guiding for waterfowl at Prairie Rock Outfitters in Nebraska. We loved it so much we decided to move there full time!
