Duck Camp Dinners S3 Ep. 6 | Gravies, Gogs & Pirogues Now LIVE!

As the season’s final days draw near, episode 6 of Duck Camp Dinners wraps up with legendary Louisiana duck hunter Dale Bordelon. Chef Jean-Paul joins Dale in his home waters. Dale is a legend in Louisiana waterfowling and shows Jean-Paul the old-school ways. The two hunt over hand-carved decoys and recount the rich history that surrounds Louisiana.

With a history lesson in hand, Jean-Paul sets his sights on the future of Louisiana. The ever-present threat of storms and erosion seriously threatens marsh habitats. Duck Camp Dinners gets a firsthand look at the work ConocoPhillips is doing to restore these precious habitats. With thousands of acres of restored coastal habitats and more to come, things are looking up for Louisiana.

Before wrapping up the season, Chef Jean-Paul uses his culinary skills to host guests and raise money for Delta Waterfowl. The money raised went directly to constructing wood duck boxes to ensure there are ducks in the future. To wrap up the season’s final day, the whole crew returns to Bayou Black. With wood duck boxes in hand, they do their part in giving back to the ducks they love before ending with one final hunt.
