TBI Seeks 70-year-old Person of Interest In Reelfoot Lake Double Homicide

Weakley County authorities said three men Chance Black, 26, Zachary Grooms, 25, and David Vowell, 70, were out hunting early Monday morning when the two younger men were shot and killed in a blind on Reelfoot Lake. Authorities have confirmed that Black was the son of Chief Deputy Mark Black with the Weakley County Sheriff’s Department.

Tennessee Bureau of Investigation agents are asking for help from the public in seeking the 70-year-old man as a person of interest in the double homicide in Obion County Tennessee.

Special agents with the TBI said that person of interest, David Vowell of Martin should be considered armed and dangerous. Chance Black, 26, and Zachary Grooms, 25, were killed during the incident, TBI reported. A cause of death has not been released for the victims.
