Every year in Las Vegas, the firearms industry comes together for a week of unveiling new guns and technology at SHOT Show. While some years are better than others, especially for waterfowlers, we were pleasantly surprised with some of the new shotguns for 2026. This year, some completely new guns hit the market, as well as several key updates duck hunters have been waiting for. Below is a list of our five favorite new offerings for the 2026 season.
Beretta AX800 Suprema

Beretta unveiled the AX800 Suprema back in November, and SHOT Show 2026 is its first big debut on the show circuit. It jumps the A400 as Beretta’s most expensive waterfowl shotgun, retailing at $2,499 for the standard all-black model and $2,599 for camo. In classic Beretta fashion, their design team continues to push the envelope of what’s possible. The Kick-Off Pro Recoil Stock features modern styling and is packed with technology, resulting in up to 70% felt recoil reduction. Combined with a gas-driven action, it’s one of the softest shooting guns on the market. For a company that is celebrating 500 years of premium firearms, the AX800 Suprema is quite a statement piece in terms of waterfowl guns.
Benelli M2 with Progressive Comfort Stock

Three years ago, Benelli unveiled the updated M2, featuring improved ergonomics and the same dependability that hunters have grown to love. In 2026, the M2 gets another major upgrade with the addition of the Progressive Comfort Recoil stock system. For Benelli fans, you may be familiar with this system in some other guns like the SBE3. The continued updates to the M2 should go a long way in keeping this shotgun a fan favorite. In addition, Benelli unveiled updates to the Montefeltro, SBE3, and Ethos Cordoba.
Stoeger M3500 Waterfowl Edition

For budget guns, it’s hard to go wrong with a Stoeger. They’re affordable and feature a proven inertia-driven action. This year, the M3500 adds to its lineup with the newly updated Waterfowl Edition. Built for serious waterfowlers, it features a Mossy Oak Bottomland stock and forearm, cerakote finish, and oversized controls. The 3500 can chamber shells up to 3.5 inches.
Retay ACE and ACE R – Wood Finish

Last year, Retay unveiled the ACE and ACE R shotguns as their new flagship models. I’ve been shooting the 20-gauge ACE R all season long with nothing but good things to say (full review coming soon). On the SHOT Show floor, Retay unveiled new additions to this inertia gun sporting walnut stocks. In addition, Retay unveiled an Ultralight Version, specific to upland hunters.
Browning A5 20 Gauge Camos

The A5 20 Gauge is high on the list of guns every hunter should own. Classic looks, a soft shooting action, and catering to the sub-gauge trend are just a few reasons we love this gun so much. Our only issue with it was that it was only available in a wood stock, which doesn’t mesh well with the rigors of duck hunting. Thankfully, that changes with SHOT Show 2026. The Browning A5 20 Gauge is now available in four different camo patterns, all with synthetic stocks. Now waterfowlers can enjoy shooting the A5 20 Gauge in the blind without worrying about beating it up.
